self portraits

For this project, we were tasked with capturing a series of eight self-portraits, each connected by a unifying theme. The focus was on composition, expression, and storytelling to create a cohesive and meaningful collection.

My goal with this collection was to showcase how running has taken over my life and is woven into everything I do. Each portrait reflects this theme, illustrating the ways in which running influences my daily routines and overall existence. Whether through physical exhaustion, doing running-related things while not running, or fed up with the grind, these images represent the connection between myself and the sport.
